I've worked with humans aged 6 to 66. KAP clients must be 21 years of age or older. I pull from whatever modality best suits the person in front of me and whatever their needs may be.

I have worked in a variety of settings with a diverse population primarily as a Client-Centered Therapist, empowering each client to travel the path that best fits their personal journey, and to embrace the necessary shifts needed in order to activate change. Through deep, genuine, understanding and caring, and gentle prompting to assist in self-exploration and self-knowledge, I help to facilitate growth and self-actualization.

My philosophy of personal growth meshes perfectly with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I have concluded 60+ hours of live, online didactical training in fundamental, advanced, and special topics in KAP, as well as a four-day experiential training focusing on preparation, exploration, and integration work. Knowing first hand that KAP can help foster immense positive growth, I am happy to join The Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio team as a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist.

What is a typical first session like with you?

I insist on starting by getting to know each client. I never read what someone else has written until we've met first. I feel that the connection between client and therapist is of utmost importance and do my part to foster that connection. I want you to breathe easy and feel comfortable working with me.

What are some of your favorite approaches?

At my core I'm a client-centered therapist. For Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I tend to tie in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into Integration (post-journey). For struggling teens I like to work with the parents and child utilizing Dr. Greene's Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model. I also pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) when the situation calls for it.

My first "car" was a 1974 VW Van. We took that van to roughly 80 Phish shows between 1989-1995.
