North Shore Art Therapy

How we help

Our treatment pathways offer mental health support to adults, teens, and kids.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions with a licensed clinician, built around you. Individual therapy is the most common starting point, with a consistent, private space to do focused work at your own pace.

  • Available in person at our Salem and Beverly studios or via telehealth
  • Weekly or biweekly sessions tailored to your goals
  • Draw on a range of modalities including Expressive Arts, EMDR, Somatic, IFS, CBT, and more
  • Most major insurance plans accepted

Group Therapy

Structured, therapist-led groups for specific needs, life stages, and age groups. Group therapy at The Artful Life is not a support group — it's a clinical program with intention, structure, and a licensed clinician guiding every session.

  • Small groups with a maximum number of participants
  • Available for children, teens, and adults
  • Billable through most major insurance plans
  • New groups added throughout the year

Family Therapy

Family therapy addresses the system, not just the individual. When one person in a family is struggling, it rarely stays contained but moves through relationships, dynamics, and daily life.

  • Brings relevant family members into the room together
  • Focuses on communication, connection, and shared understanding
  • Includes couples navigating relationship challenges as part of a broader family system
  • Available in person or via telehealth

Relationship Therapy

This is a space for anyone working through a significant dynamic with clinical support and a neutral third party. When we say relationships, we mean those that extend well beyond romantic partnerships, too.

  • Couples, whether newer or longterm
  • Non-monogamous relationships to establish boundaries/open communication
  • Parent and adult child relationships
  • Siblings, close friends, or co-parents
  • Colleagues or other significant relationships
  • Available in person or via telehealth

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

KAP is an integrative treatment option available to qualifying adult clients, always embedded within an ongoing therapeutic relationship, never a standalone procedure.

  • Combines ketamine with structured psychotherapy before, during, and after the experience
  • Available for adults with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, or anxiety
  • Eligibility determined through a thorough clinical assessment
  • Offered alongside individual therapy as part of a broader treatment plan
