At The Artful Life Counseling Center, we believe healing happens through creativity, movement, and connection. We’re excited to offer therapeutic groups designed to help clients reduce stress, build confidence, and foster relationships through expressive arts therapy.
Cool, Calm, and Creative
Ages 10–13 | 6 Weeks
For kids who feel big feelings deeply. This playful, arts-based group helps pre-teens:
Understand anxiety and stress in age-appropriate ways
Learn calming tools they can actually use
Build bravery in trying new things
Make friends who “get it”
A space where sensitive kids feel capable - not overwhelmed.
Summer 2026 Groups
Give your child a summer experience that builds skills for life while feeling creative, engaging, and genuinely fun. Our small-group therapy programs blend art, movement, and connection to help kids and teens grow in confidence, emotional strength, and self-understanding all in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Regulate and Create
Ages 14–16 | 6 Weeks
For teens navigating anxiety, identity, and social pressure. Through art, movement, and reflection, teens will:
Understand their nervous system and emotional patterns
Build self-compassion and confidence
Strengthen coping skills and decision-making
Create a meaningful final art piece that reflects their growth
A space to express, connect, and feel understood.
The Art of Adulting
Ages 17–19 | 6 Weeks
For young people stepping into independence. This group supports teens in:
Manage stress and overwhelm
Communicate emotions clearly
Build self-advocacy and leadership skills
Explore identity and future goals creatively
Healing isn’t linear. Growing up is an art. Come create your path forward.

Important Information
All groups are structured psychotherapy groups led by licensed clinicians and are billable through insurance. We accept most major insurance plans; families are responsible for any copay, deductible, or coinsurance required by their policy. An intake session is required prior to enrollment to ensure appropriate clinical fit.
