Our 2026 Programs

At The Artful Life Counseling Center, we believe healing happens through creativity, movement, and connection. We’re excited to offer therapeutic groups designed to help clients reduce stress, build confidence, and foster relationships through expressive arts therapy.

Cool, Calm, and Creative

Ages 10–13 | 6 Weeks

For kids who feel big feelings deeply. This playful, arts-based group helps pre-teens:

  • Understand anxiety and stress in age-appropriate ways

  • Learn calming tools they can actually use

  • Build bravery in trying new things

  • Make friends who “get it”

A space where sensitive kids feel capable - not overwhelmed.

Summer 2026 Groups

Give your child a summer experience that builds skills for life while feeling creative, engaging, and genuinely fun. Our small-group therapy programs blend art, movement, and connection to help kids and teens grow in confidence, emotional strength, and self-understanding all in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Regulate and Create

For teens navigating anxiety, identity, and social pressure. Through art, movement, and reflection, teens will:

  • Understand their nervous system and emotional patterns

  • Build self-compassion and confidence

  • Strengthen coping skills and decision-making

  • Create a meaningful final art piece that reflects their growth

A space to express, connect, and feel understood.

The Art of Adulting

Ages 17–19 | 6 Weeks

For young people stepping into independence. This group supports teens in:

  • Manage stress and overwhelm

  • Communicate emotions clearly

  • Build self-advocacy and leadership skills

  • Explore identity and future goals creatively

Healing isn’t linear. Growing up is an art. Come create your path forward.

Why Parents Choose Our Summer Groups

  • Small, therapist-led groups

  • Creative, hands-on experiences (not lectures)

  • Real tools for anxiety, confidence, and emotional regulation

  • A supportive peer community
