The Art of Adulting
Summer 2026, 6-Week Program
Ages 14-17
Stepping into adulthood can feel exciting, overwhelming, uncertain — sometimes all at once. The Art of Adulting is a 6-week, arts-based support group designed for young people navigating the social, emotional, and identity shifts that come with this transition.
Through creative expression and experiential learning, participants will build real-world skills for managing stress, communicating emotions, strengthening self-esteem, deepening connections, and setting meaningful goals. Using a variety of art materials and interactive activities, youth will explore both verbal and non-verbal ways to better understand themselves and the world around them.
What We’ll Explore:
Understanding your nervous system and managing stress responses
Naming and communicating emotions with confidence
Challenging negative self-talk and building self-compassion
Strengthening support systems and community connections
Developing leadership, self-advocacy, and goal-setting skills
Integrating your growth into a powerful final creative piece
Each session blends creativity, mindfulness, discussion, hands-on art making, and practical tools you can use beyond the group. No art experience needed — just curiosity and openness.
Healing isn’t linear. Growing up is an art.
Come create your path forward.
