We'll talk about what you're experiencing and how it's affecting your life. I see therapy as a partnership- whether it's one-on-one or working with a parent and child- where we collaborate to find what works best for you.
Progress takes time, and we may need to try a few approaches along the way. You're in the driver's seat and I'll be there to support you through the challenges. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be yourself, feel encouraged, and gain tools that truly help in everyday life.

I tailor my approach to each client, meeting them where they are. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, depending on what fits best. I'm also person-centered in my focus- building a strong, supportive relationship is always at the heart of the work.
I enjoy incorporating expressive arts to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings in creative ways, especially when words are hard to find. I like to keep therapy engaging and even fun, while still grounded in purpose and evidence-based practices that support real growth and change. Before becoming a mental health counselor, I spent years working as a pediatric nurse. That experience gives me a unique perspective on the mind-body connection and supports a more holistic approach to care-especially when working with children, teens, and families navigating both emotional and physical challenges.

I once went rappelling with the Army- it was both scary and a reminder of how powerful it can be to step outside your comfort zone.
In our first session, my goal is to help you feel welcome, safe, and supported. I know starting therapy can be scary, and I want you to know you're not alone- I'm here to help.
