  • Starting therapy takes bravery and vulnerability, which is why my utmost priority is for clients to feel comfortable in the space. I will typically start by orienting new clients to the office and answering any concerns or curiosities about therapy. I will take your lead on where you'd like to begin without the pressure to share "the whole story" right off the bat. Therapy is not something that can be rushed and I respect the pace of each client's disclosure. I try to set some preliminary goals for therapy by the end of the first or second session.

  • I have seen significant shifts with kids and adults from externalizing feelings as objects or other creatures. Kids often enjoying creating these creatures with supplies in session! I have a psychological science background and enjoy educating my clients about how the brain and our feelings operate to keep us safe (sometimes overly so). I am completing a child psychodynamic training fellowship and certification to become an ADHD Clinical Specialist.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker who works with individuals age 5 through middle adulthood. My clients are often facing issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, insomnia, difficulty with focus and socialization. My approach is about collaboration—the client is in the driver's seat, and I'm here to help them get to their destination.

I believe therapy is most effective when you're at ease, so I might bring in humor and playfulness when the moment invites it. My goal is to bring you to your own solutions and forge the confidence to apply them in the real world. I integrate various therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, attachment models and expressive arts interventions, and can lean into whatever fits best for you or your child.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is watching people accomplish things they never thought possible. I would feel privileged to walk alongside you or your child on this journey toward feeling whole and well.
