  • During the first session, first I'll show you around the space! You'll be introduced to the huge studio we have which has all sorts of art supplies, as well as the movement and dance room, and then we'll head back to my office! During that first session, I'm just focusing on starting to get to know you. We might do an art activity or listen to some music together. I like to keep my sessions relaxed and very low pressure. Our sessions should be a time where you are able to feel safe to just come as you are. :)

  • I'm a certified yoga instructor, so I love integrating that into my sessions! I also love to use mindfulness and meditation techniques. I like doing sessions sitting on the floor if people are open to it! I love to incorporate all forms of art, movement, music, and mindfulness into my sessions.

  • Did you know earthworms can live up to 20 years?!!!! (if in good conditions and not swooped up by a bird)

Hi, I'm Rachael!! I am I grew up in Texas, went to school in Arkansas, and am so excited to have moved up here to New England. I love yoga, classical music, opera, art, figure skating, and spending time with my little Chihuahua (my son) named Bug! When I'm not at the Artful Life, you might find me walking around in nature or singing at Symphony Hall with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus alongside Boston Symphony Orchestra. I've found that intuitive movement, music, and the arts are deeply healing. I believe that these are all incredible tools to help us come back to the present and to reconnect with our authentic selves.
