Each therapeutic session is co-created in collaboration with the client, meeting them where they are and honoring their comfort levels. The first session following the intake is an opportunity to gently ease into the therapeutic space, build rapport, explore the client’s goals and interests, and provide a deeper understanding of the therapeutic process. Clients are often invited to engage in a creative arts process as part of the session, though this depends on the client's preferences.

I love using the creative arts as healing, parts work, polyvagal-informed movement/breath practices, and talk therapy. I use a variety of modalities to best meet the needs and goals of the client.
I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach and enjoy working with children and teens through the use of the creative arts in therapy. The arts can offer a deeply healing experience, supporting emotional processing, nervous system regulation, self-expression beyond words, deep self-discovery, healthy risk-taking, stress reduction, and more. I believe the arts are for everyone, not just for those who identify as artists or are young in age. Creative expression as a path to healing is a cornerstone of my therapeutic practice. At the same time, I draw on a variety of therapeutic frameworks to best support each client’s unique needs and goals.

I have lived in the southwest and northeast regions of the U.S.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy. This is complemented by over ten years of experience supporting youth in educational settings. I have worked extensively with children and adolescents facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and depression. I also have experience working with teens affected by systemic inequities and trauma. I approach this vocation with empathy and a deep respect for each person’s unique life journey.
I bring a calm, playful, and caring presence to my therapeutic work. My approach is integrative, drawing from a range of frameworks and modalities. These include visual arts mediums such as drawing, painting, writing, collage, and sculpture; polyvagal-informed movement and breath practices; and parts work. I prioritize each client’s agency in shaping the direction of the therapeutic process. I am deeply committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-oppressive care.
