  • I like to take some time to get to know you as the client during the first session. The first few weeks of therapy are a great time for us to use the creative process as a tool for me to begin to gain an understanding of who you are as a client, and as a person! This could look like drawing, painting, writing a story or poem, creating music, etc. I may provide you with some prompts to provide some structure around this!

  • One of my favorite approaches is a method called Focusing Oriented Arts Therapy (FOAT®) which is a mindfulness-based expressive arts therapy method, developed by Dr. Laury Rappaport. I was fortunate to be trained in this method by Laury herself during my time at Lesley, and I am currently Level 1 FOAT® certified!

  • A fun fact about me is that I learned how to play the harp in 2020! I also play guitar, and some piano.

I am a pre-licensed mental health counselor and expressive arts therapist. I graduated from Lesley University in May of 2024. I have experience working with a wide range of age-groups and diagnoses, and specialize in using visual art, music, poetry, writing, and mindfulness! I also have experience utilizing talk-therapy methods such as DBT and CBT. As a clinician, I aim to take a client-focused approach to therapy; I believe that you as the client are the expert of your own experience, and that the goals we establish together should reflect that!
